I have had two squash that was large enough to harvest. I like the yellow summer squash better that I like the Zucchini squash even tho I feel the zucchini produces more squash per vine, I like the flavor of the yellow squash. I dip them in milk, then roll in corn meal , then fry until golden brown. Sometimes I slice them and cook with a little water until just tender. They are a meal all alone.

I am just getting my first flowers on my squashes, so I am really looking forward to them. I cook them all sorts of ways and eat them raw too when they are very small.
How I just love summer food.
