This is the day on which my father was born. When he was a small baby my grandmother was out doing her outside chores and daddy crawled to the fire place and burned his hand. This burn left a scare that he carried all his life.
When he was in his coffin I looked at his hands folded in the traditional pose and I saw the scare on his hand. I thought this is really daddy lying here. On this day my mind is full of the memories of daddy and his life.

How lucky you are to have all those memories to cherish and enjoy - although tinged with a sadness at his loss. But rejoice in having him for all those years, and having all those wonderful memories and photos.
