sicko

Morning Edition, June 20, 2007 · Director Michael Moore, whose upcoming film, Sicko, attacks the American health care system, is scheduled to hold a news conference on Capitol Hill Wednesday. While Sicko does not open in most theaters until next week, it has already generated considerable attention.

A visit to Cuba to shoot part of the film may have violated a U.S. trade embargo; the Treasury Department is investigating. Moore has made a lot of noise in the media over the probe, saying he has stashed a copy of the film in Canada for fear it will be seized in the United States.
I have not seen this movie of course but I am here to tell you our health care is the worst It has been in my life time.
If you work at Tyson, foods, which is the only place you can get insurance while working in our area., your premiums have gone way up and your deductible is higher. people can't afford to see a doctor around here, if they can find one.
Our local hospital has got to where they are going after the patient for their part of the bill in a ruff way. garnishment and harassing phone calls at work and in your home. Our hospital at Berryville Ar. is owned by Saint Johns in Springfield Mo. and take my word for it they are not saints.
What I think is what ever Micheal Moore says about our health care. It probably is true!

He was on The View yesterday. They said even Fox news called "Sicko" brilliant. According to people who have seen it, it is not political, just a look at how our healthcare system is broken. I can't wait to see it.

If they could fix health care, I could retire...I hope Hillary will get elected and fix it.

We are the only first world country with no national health care. Canada, Great B., Norway, Sweden, France...all have health care. We have freedom. Ha!

Insurance companies, I hate them all.... the only companies more crooked and richer than the oil companies!...They did not get this way by paying fair claims......Then after 9-11 America just accepted the rate hikes and injustices like this was a normal thing to do. My goodness the poor insurance companies look at all they lost on 9-11....never mind the enormous profits they had been raking in for decades maybe they should have been putting some of those profits away for the day they had to pay out more on claims than they actually took in that year... no why do that we will just raise everyone's premiums...
