yesterday I caught 17 of my hens and sent them to my daughter-in-law's. I must make room for the Rhode Island reds and the pekin I am keeping thro' the winter. They have to be able to get out of the weather in January.
I caught 7 this morning just by setting with the lid up while they ate. Tonight I will go out and try to catch some on the roost.

You had the fun of raising them and now you are ready to set them free (more or less).
Hope Judy enjoys them...I would.
If you have any more you need to get rid of, you can bring them down here and we will feed them to the bobcat.
So, show us the ones you kept.
