I am still not feeling well. I am running a little fever every day and doing a lot of sleeping. My daughter called me from work last night and said I ought to get up and do something. I am sure some of the know it all people who work with her had suggested that I NEEDED to do something.i told her I was sick and I didn't need her to tell me what to do. guess she wont make that mistake again.
I called son and told him if his wife wants my chickens to come get them by august 1. I am only keeping 6 old hens and a rooster. I have to make room for the pullets I am going to keep this winter. My hen house is only big enough for about 2 dozen hens and they have to have the protection for the winter.
Next comes the hard part deciding what pullets I can keep because I know I have more than I can keep. Sister is willing to take some more when I decide which ones I want.

Sister in Arizonia thinks Clayton might want some chickens if he does he needs to let me know.

how high has your temp been ?? you need to go to the doctor.
I have too many chickens, but would take more pullets. My pen is full with the last ones...but would take more pullets as I do love them. 6 or 7 is all I could take.
Glad you are just a little sick and don't have blocked bowel.
