Tomatoes

My fresh tomatoes off the vine are so good. I peel, yes peel I can't digest the peeling since I got old, and then eat one every morning. I am dreading when they are gone. A lady at work gave Janet 5 dollars for 6. She said they were a 1.78 in the store and had black spots on them. I sent her 9 but told Janet i can't sell any more. not enough for me.

Oh, they look so good. And they are so good for you. The ones in
the store are not really good, but
I buy them and pretend.

I really miss the peaches this year. I always bought them a mile from my house at an orchard, they were all killed this year.

There is nothing better than a tomato from Arkansas. We use to go down to the Farmer's Market and take a bunch of them down to Mom in Floridas. She could grow just about everything in Florida - but the tomato's taste terrible.

Those are pretty. Do you dip them in hot and then cold water to peel them easily?

I'm going to have turnip greens and sliced tomatoes with some meat loaf for supper tonight. I can hardly wait.

They look great - its a bit early in the year for ours to be ready yet - especially with all that wet and cold weather!
