real tin foil peeople! NOT aluminum.
And GROUND it! Attach a copper cable to the rear end of the hat and let it dangle, long enough so it drags on the ground when you move. This way the mind control waves go harmlessly to the ground, like the way a lightening rod works.

Rumor has it that the government (and possibly the aliens are in on this as well) are micro chipping some of the aluminum foil. Make sure you always buy the heavy duty foil (yes, it costs more, but lasts longer!) and it should be a brand name you recognize (like Reynolds). Beware of any foil that is marked on the box made by "United States Government Company"!
And as for the remark about having tin foil on the ceilings and floor, scientific data shows tin foil on the walls, doors, and windows reflects all radio waves. Once you are inside the safety of your aluminum foiled house, you can safely take your tin foil hat off. An added benefit to the tin foil on ceilings and walls is that you can reduce the wattage of your light bulbs due to the reflection capability of the foil. This results in less electricity being used which saves you money, which sadly evens out as having foil over the doors and windows blocks out natural light resulting in the lights being on 24 hours a day (not to mention screwing up your internal clock).
But this is well worth it instead of being abducted by the government or aliens!!

LOL - I am with annie on this one - her black summer hat is so much more fetching
how about me coming up wed to get the yellow chickens (hens). I worked all day and caught the game ones and my big rooster and a few black ones and a couple of yours that were roosters. I still have 3 or 4 of yours that are roosters so I will have plenty. They are trying to crow. Siggie and I caught the ones to go to the garden but I told her we were putting them in her bedroom...she was all for it.
I fixed up my hen nests adn worked on my fence as it looked like something was getting in there...so how about this Wed...around noon...no don't cook!
Oh, if Fleta has not gone back to work...you and I can go out and see her before we load up the chicks.
this will make a great Easter hat next spring - I will just add a flower
