I read a post that someone made and she said her mother thought the Chinese were trying to poison us. Ever one had a good laugh but that very thought crossed my mind yesterday when I read about the toys loaded with lead.
The Chinese wants to be the world power , how better to go about it than poison us.

Chinese eye shadow has been found to be tainted with both lead and microbiological contamination
WASHINGTON – In the wake of scandals involving tainted food and toothpaste from China comes word of a new concern from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission as well as the Food and Drug Administration – toys, makeup, glazed pottery and other products that contain significant amounts of lead.
While lead poisoning among children was once mainly caused by old paint, U.S. manufacturers long ago banned the ingredient. Today, a new rash of high lead levels in the bloodstreams of American kids is being caused by foreign products – mainly from China.
So serious is the resurgence of lead poisoning among U.S. children that the Iowa Department of Public Health is working on writing a new law to require mandatory testing of those entering school for the first time.

Sometimes I wonder if any of the other countries really like us.

It's quite frightening when we consider how many products we use are made in places that don't have the safeguards we expect.
Patsy, I have said the same thing. I recently was shopping and went to a 'dollar' store and bought a claw hammer. I was shocked to find a warning on a label attached to it when I was about to use it.
The writing was in print so small I had to use a magnifying glass to read it. This is what it said,
"warning, this product contains chemicals that are known in the state of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm." Then in the tiniest print imaginable it said, "wash hands after using."
I assume they were referring to the rubber type handle.
How rediculous to say it is known to cause these problems in California, and not list the entire world. And who would think to wash their hands after using a hammer?
I don't know who is supposed to be controlling or regulating what is sent to the USA but they certainly aren't doing their job, or Maybe it's a matter of money changing hands...
Yes I do believe that China has a plan. There is more than one kind of terrorist.
I am also wondering who owns the chains of Dollar stores....
There, now we have a few more things to think about.
I'm praying for my country.
