AUDREY EPLEY, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas was born February 24, 1923 in Oasis, Missouri. A daughter of Charlie and Ethel (O'Neal) Anderson. She departed this life Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the age of 84.
She is survived by one son, Gerald Epley of Green Forest, Arkansas; one daughter, Helen Snow of Berryville, Arkansas; six sisters, Mildred Brawley of Cathamlet, Washington, Charlene Keller of Yarba Linda, California, Ilene Bowen of Centerton, Arkansas, Elvada Boxwell, Eunice Asbury, and Carmaletta Humbard all of Green Forest, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Andrea Snyder, Paula Parton, Johnny Snow and Devan Hill; six great-grandchildren, Kason Snyder, Natosha Phillips, Weston Parton, Kaylin Snow, Hunter Hill, and Hailey Hill and several other nieces and nephews.
On August 27, 1940 Audrey was united in marriage with Myrl Epley who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her parents, one daughter, Norma Jean Epley, two brothers, Lex and Lev Anderson, and one sister Snowdie Boyd.
Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2007 from 5 until 8 PM at the Nelson's Green Forest Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson's Green Forest Chapel in Green Forest, Arkansas with Brother Kenny Asbury and Pastor Todd Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Yocum Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
When I went to work at the Ocoma chicken plant I worked with Audrey the first time and I worked with her at Tyson foods until she retired.

I've been thinking it might pay to write my own obituary - make it about all the stuff I've said and done that my family wouldn't think to say out loud!
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I lost a friend last week, too. She was one of my best friends in hight school, and my first roommate as a freshman in college. I had lost touch with her over the years, only to find out too late that she lived in Flippin!
Patsy...sometime tell about the garment factory you worked at...was it worse than the chicken plant?
