it is going to be hot here today. no rain in sight, do you remember my complaining 3 weeks ago about all the rain.
son picked all of his cantaloupes. The armadillos were eating them. I think he picked them to soon but I laid some around in my kitchen to see if they will ripen. If they don't they will make good chicken food.
He brought me 3 water melons. The first we cut while he was here was not very good but I cut on in the evening time and it was delicious. They are sugar baby melons and don't get very large . The last one is in the refrigerator cooling now. I hope it is good. It held promise because it was heavy feeling and I remembered someone telling me that melons that were ripe always felt heavy compared to the green one.
I have forgot so much that I knew at one time but sometimes it comes back to me in a flash.

Hope the melon is good and really cold.
I went back to check the chickens they will be 4 weeks old today and it is 80 degrees in there they look content maybe they know it could be worse.
