i think I might live yet. I know this is more than you people want to know but why should I be the only miserable person here?
I have this hole in my belly where a boil like things came up and poured pus and bloody fluid last Saturday a week ago. I have had to take meds and since I am home I have to dress this hole twice a day.
This is the way I have to do it. I pour this chlorine and water solution on a piece of gauze , then i lay on my bed wearing rubber gloves and poke the gauze in the hole which is about 1 and 1/4 inches deep.
when i dress it the next time this gauze is full of pus!now starting last night and continuing this morning, no pus just blood! this is improvement believe it or not.

i'm like dot... didn't bother me a bit. maybe they should have sent you home with a woundvac. those things heal stuff up wonderfully. glad you are feeling better.
I guess when nothing comes out but piss and vinegar, you're back to normal, right Patsy?
If it's just blood coming out now instead of puss, then I'd say it's on its way to healing! I have a strong stomach so these things don't bother me:-) I'm sure you'll be glad once it heals though!! xox
Why dont you post pictures of the hole? Then I could post pictures of my drain and we could compare.

I have had a few of them nasty thing,s granny use to use drawing salve on them and in one night the dumb thing would be open and draining.Id get sick before it would drain.and after it popped Id feel 100 % better.I hate them dang things.
