Halloween came early

Halloween came early here. I was out on the porch this morning having feed and watered the chicks. My porch is grown over with plants, some might think the poor old soul can't keep her brush cut back from the porch but truth is I like it that way.
I looked over by the morning glory vine and saw this old fashion English pink rose bush. I thought when did that grow there and I missed it?
Some one had brought me the bush in a milk carton. I love it. I have wanted one for years. I will cut it back and plant it next to the porch where my tomatoes grew this year.
I am going to take the rest of the plant and cut into section and try to root the.
I have no idea who did this but I love it.
I did get tricked, when I went to plant the bush thinking someone had dug up the roots I found that what I had was just a limb some one had broke off, I planted it any way since I had the hole dug and I covered it with a plastic box so it might live. I cut the rest into lengths and put them in water in my kitchen window maybe one will root.

Rather a treat than a trick! But with no root it may be a trick.

No tricks for you, Patsy. Only treats. I will keep my fingers crossed that you get several rosebushes from your efforts.
