pets

OXFORD -- Owning an exotic pet had tragic consequences for one Sumter County family Wednesday.
Authorities confirmed a 2-year-old girl was killed by an 8 1/2-foot-long albino Burmese python.

I don't understand how anyone would keep such a reptile under any substances. People need to get a brain.

When my daughter was 18 years old she had a friend who was always going to these pet shops and Janet came home one day from Harrison and announce she had seen this PET snake and the shop wanted 100 dollars for it. I said No! she got mad and said she was going to buy the snake. I told her I had an ax and if she did I would take the ax and kill the snake as soon as she brought it in. We didn't get a snake.

I have read that there are hundreds roaming around Florida that have escaped or been turned lose when they get too large to deal with.

On this site I read there are people posting about their pet snakes and always say I LOVE MY SNAKE! yeah and it will love you to death. I read one the other day where someone had killed a copperhead snake and had a photo of it and some fool posted and said I wish you hadn't killed it, I would like to have had it.

Some post pictures of their snakes and ask that no snake hater comment, I don't!
A few years ago a man in Harrison had a rattle snake and it bit him, he was hospitalizes and the law went and killed the snake. The same fellow was at Tyson and had a rattle snake in a cage showing it. I saw it now I wish I had called the cops .

A few years ago I read that a family was on welfare, at that time the welfare put the family in a motel and gave them money to buy food for the 3 children. That fool man used the money to but a big snake, It got into bed with the man and woman and bit the lady on the butt , they had to cut the snake's head off to get it to turn the fool loose.

The news reported the family were very upset about the death in Florida of the two year old, yeah sure!

We will not even keep a dog that growls at kids.
