"We will continue to do what we always do," Arpaio said. During a news conference Thursday, Arpaio had his deputies walk by one-by-one and place federal credentials into a bowl of ice. "This is not a dog and pony show," Arpaio said. "It's a symbolic type of thing." The display comes in response to a move made by federal officials from Immigration Customs and Enforcement, or ICE, earlier this month to pull MCSO's certification under the 287 (g) program.
