The hatchery chicks are 20 weeks old now but this rooster and the two pullets are 23 weeks old and are from my bantam hen's hatch. The red hen in the middle is
about ready to start laying note the red comb. The rooster and the black/grey pullet are the off springs of my Rhode island red bantam and the big rooster I had last year. I find it interesting that they have inherited the bantam gene and will be no bigger than their mother.
