No raise on Social security checks in January but Obama wants to send a $250 check as a one time payment in January. If you get a raise on your check you would have it from then forward until you die but by sending a one time check you wont have a increase on you check from that date forward.
They had said there would not be an increase premiums for Medicare for the year but they are messing with that also, if your medicare starts for the first time you will pay $110. a month for your insurance while those already signed up will still pay $96.50 a month this coming year.

This is a corporate trick when they don't want to give any raises. Sometimes they call it a "bridge bonus". I call it Bulls-well, you know what I call it.
Sister, they are doing the same where I work. We got a little 'bonus' Christmas and they do not have to pay it again if they don't want to. I would much rather have the money on my salary so I could count on it later. The treat is a trick!
