The House has passed a health care bill last night. The vote was 220 yeas and 215 nays. the yea votes were all Democrats except for Republican Joesph Cao from Louisiana. 39 Democrats votes against the bill.
The Arkansas rep. vote was Marion berry,Vic Snyder yea and mike Ross , John Boozman nay.
The bill had an anti-abortion clause. There is a public option clause and removes the health insurance anti-trust protection which they have enjoyed.
This bill banns the health insurance from excluding people for pre-existing conditions and stops high premiums for women. ON TO THE SENATE.
President Obama says we will have a health-care bill passed by the new year.
