Jackie Johns murderer brought to trial
Gerald Carnahan was scheduled to stand trial on July 27 for the murder of Jackie Johns of Nixa. After a motion hearing this afternoon (07-17-09) in St. Louis County, Circuit Judge Michael Jamison reset the trial for Feb. 16, 2010. Finally they are bringing this man to trial for the murder of Jackie Johns of Nixa Mo. They have DNA from the body and Johns' car which match Carnahan.
In June 1985 Jackie Johns disappeared from a sale barn/ rodeo grounds. The next day they found her car with blood all over the inside and her cloths four days later her body was seen floating in lake Springfield. Carnahan was 28 years old when this happened he has lived a life time since Johns died.
