I love the sound of the mourning dove when I go out in the morning and evening it is a lonesome sound that reminds me of days gone by.
I am hearing the call of the guinea hen often and the red hen calls her young to eat and the older keets have began to come to her call also.
We had a heavy rain again last night and the ground is soaked.
I always think that the hot days are gone by the 12 th of September. it is right around the corner.
I am gathering 7 eggs most days and I have not seen any pullets eggs yet.

Have you been following the debate here in Harrison about whether or not to allow chickens in the city limits? Proponents say they don't smell and opponents say they do. What do you say?
