thank you Betty
THANK YOU, BETTY.I got a box from Betty , Two dresses,a pair of shoes several books and some skin cream. If all my sisters and brothers would send me a box like Betty I would be doing good.
I like my dresses and shoes. I saw one book I will read but that Duggard book , No. I saw enough of that on TV. I really liked the pictures in the two history books and I will read the book by Ellen Gray Massey. about Mary Elizabeth Mahnkney, seems like I might have read part of it some where. I am getting forgetful about what I have read. THERE WAS A TIME WHEN I COULDN'T READ A BOOK THAT I HAD READ BUT I AM GETTING A LITTLE FORGETFUL AND I CAN READ SOME BOOKS A SECOND TIME.

Happy Birthday, Patsy! I know you've had a hard year, and I hope this next one will be considerably kinder to you. Even though I don't often comment, I hope you know that I check on you here every day (sometimes more than once) and that I don't consider my own day as started right until I've read what's on your mind. I really enjoy those little visits with you.
Read the book about the Lacks woman...it is good too.
The Dugard book ...Laura could not read. Fleta said she would pick up the books when you are through...now those 2 picture history books you can keep if you want (but doubt you do) the one about Carroll County was Momma's and she gave it to me.
The book about Mamanky (not right spelling) is maybe my favorite book of all. Jonell said her Momma went to that store and the old lady would let Ann check out books and take them home to read. She was a good old lady.
Happy Birthday, Patsy...
