Tilda's daughter Bertha married Robert Barker. Their daughter Berl was the one who called. I thought it was interesting Robert Barker's dad was John and I think John's brother was George who married Arizona Clark--Ma Barker!
I called Berl and told her about your visit to Tildie. She said by that time she and her mom were in Washington state. She married and her husband died at age 21. She married a second time to Jack Cox. They traveled in a motor home for 12 years but now are ready to settle down. They lived in Col. but were in Yuma AZ at present. She said it would get 120 there today. Her Mother is Dillard's first cousin!
I told her about the book Quantrill's Thieves. She is going to order it. Berl is 78 so she makes you seem young.
