jersey calf

 the hens have ate all the greens that were in the pen.
a few weeks ago I told Sammy to buy a calf at the sale and he brought home a jersey bull calf. Kelly let it suck his cow and now I have it here so I can feed it grain. It isn't very fat.

Boy was I wrong,,,wen I read the headline jersey calf I thought boy ifI live long enough I could milk that...Guess not since it is a steer

The Jersey is so pretty. those chickens love greens. I got 0 eggs yesterday and have about 30 chickens. Just too hot.
