DEAN EDGAR WINTERS, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born January 21, 1933 in Hays, Kansas, a son of Roy and Bertha (Peterson) Winters. He departed this life Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in Fayetteville, at the age of 81 years. 

Dean proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Muzzle Loaders Gun Club. He enjoyed collecting guns, model planes and loved boats. 

On January 22, 1970, Dean was united in marriage with Ngon T. (Nguyen) Winters who survives him of the home. He is also survived by four children, Tom Winters and wife Nicole of Eureka Springs, AR, Ann Campbell and husband David of Grandview, AR, Leiah Winters—Sasser and husband Stan of Boulder, CO and Hung Winters and wife Tho of Orlando, FL; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friend
