Clayton was born in Sept. and this was at least spring. When did Daddy make it home?
clayton was born in 1944 and daddy came home in the fall of 1945.i figure i was 7 here and richard was six. he started to school at denver and we moved to the home place soon after. i think nov. because i remember the persimmons were ripe and we loved them, daddy joked that we wont have feed the kids they will live on persimmons.
