I saw on televison tonight out in Arizona people are finding rattle snakes in their yard. They call the game warden and he very kindly comes and pick up the snake with this snake handler tool. Then he walks to the fence and gently lowers it over the fence. Thanks a lot.We have copper head snakes and if I see one I wont be calling the game warden. I will find some other means to tranport this snake to a safer place. 6 foot under ground. Snake heaven here he comes.

Patsy my husband says the only good snake is a dead one! I have killed 3 moccasins this year here. So far not rattlers but I know they are around. Danny laughs at me because I always say "JOB HIS HEAD OFF!!" I dont waste time going & getting a gun!
A copperhead's head fits my garden hoe just fine! They make good companions. We don't have rattlers and I am happy about it. North of
here 50 miles they have both copperheads and rattlers.
Granny Renfroe said when they lived in the Ozarks Mts. near Newton/Pope County line one morning she got up and found 3 copperheads lying on the stove board. She said the floor boards in the house were just loose...you could pick them up and see the dirt below the floor. the snakes crawled back down under the house, but Grandpa got his guns and lifted the boards and blasted them. It was fall and they came to the warm fire!
