Crazy woman

In case you people think that I have died because I haven't posted today. You should know that this morning at 8:15 I went crazy. I mean I went stark raving nuts!
My sister is coming to see me in two weeks. This is the sister known as Mrs. Clean. This is the sister who calls me long distant and spends 30 minutes telling me about what she has been cleaning in her house.
I don't want to talk about cleaning house with her but have no choice, she is the one who called so I should be patient enough to listen.
As I said I went crazy. The walls in this trailer were brown. They are suppose to be white. As I was drinking my coffee and looking around I thought I wonder if I got the dish pan and soap and bleach and was to use my sponge mop could I wash these walls in the front room?
I started cleaning walls. I had to take down all the things hanging on the walls, Pictures, clocks, and what all else was hanging on the walls. I had to take down the curtains and that meant they had to be washed.
I worked for 3 hours scrubbing my front room walls and then worked 2 hours polishing pictures and all the other stuff that was covered in grime. Then I had to put everything back where it belonged. By that time I had regained my sanity and I should have vacuumed the floors but since I wasn't crazy anymore I decided that I could wait until tomorrow for that.
When I get this post up I am going to lie down and take a nap! Then I am going to get up and spend the rest of the day reading blogs.

I do clean a great deal but I am not crazy right now...I know this because one time I was crazy....I vacuumed my ceiling when I was crazy and I knew this was crazy and could not stop! I also had a dog in my house sitting on my furniture, sleeping in my bed, and on occasion peed in my floor...I knew the day I was getting more sane because I looked at him and said' What in the hell are you doing in my house...' and threw him outside...So we all have our different levels of crazy and yes Pat washing your walls is probably crazy for you...I think I would stop!

Your post and the first comment made me laugh. Nuthin' nor nobody could get me to do that kind of cleaning. My house is clean but cluttered, and who cares?? Not I nor DH (dear husband), who tolerates a good deal (as I do). Patsy, your sister must be some powerful woman.

Have a good week-end, all!

Well, Old Sister...you can't cut the mustard anymore. But don't give up. That is the bottom line.

One clean sister is enough in any family. Pat, Fleta, and I are slobs and don't even care except when Helen comes to visit.

Our Mom was Mrs. Clean, too.

You deserved a break after all that cleaning!

On very rare occasiona I go "crazy" like this too. I wonder where that streak of craziness comes from? What infects us? It does feel sort of like a fast virus cause it comes on suddenly and burns out within a day.

I'm glad you're back to normal!
