Washington Co. KY.

This is the court house in Washington co. KY. Where my fore father Henry Powell married my fore mother Matilda Hilton on 2/21/ 1825. They entered this very building with Matilda Hilton's father John Hilton and were married.
Henry and Matilda moved to MO. and our family over the years moves across MO. and that is why we call Arkansas home. Our roots are deep in the KY. Soils that holds the bones of our ancestors. Posted by Picasa

Loved your little history lessons...me and Hubby aren't exactly sure where Washington Co Ky is...we are from Western Ky...south of Paducah by the TN line...I have relatives all over Ky though!
