smoking

I stopped smoking in January of this year but let me hasen to say I still would like to smoke.
I have stopped before once for 5 years and went back to it. Congress is going to slap 1 dollar tax on cigarettes so I am glad I stopped.
I put on a jacket today I hadn't worn since last winter and found a new unopened pack in my pocket.
My son said give those to Janet you don't need them. I gave them to Janet.
2 of my rhode island bantams laid today!

Hooray for Patsy! I've been off cigarettes for almost 8 years but if I found a pack I'd have to smoke one.

Dot, the problem is no one can smoke just one.

Isn't it good to not be addicted. I love the freedom of not having to have a cigarette first thing in the morning and last thing at night, right after meals and whenever there's a lull in my day. The best part about not smoking is the freedom from all that.

Patsy, I did rake leaves yesterday morning. And then there was a heavy rain with large hail so now I have a new carpet of leaves to rake. Not today thought. Today I will take a long walk.

I am fortunate having never smoked - and feel so sorry for anyone with an addiction that is a health issue.

So very pleased you stopped Patsy - hope your family are thoughtful and smoke outside your home - so you don't still get the fumes.
