This hen is setting and I have a black hen setting also, I can't believe it. These chicks are out of my May 1 hatch. It was down to 29 degrees last night. I hope sisters don't start setting if they do she will be madder than a old wet hen.

Well I never - you would not think chickens would get broody in the winter - surely it would be too cold for the chicks

Mine had better not start sitting or I will be madder than an old wet hen. They should just be laying...not sitting.
