ANNIE, DINNER IS READY

Annie wanted to know what was for dinner. First dinner here is 12:00, the evening meal is in late afternoon. That is called supper.
This is egg noodles and chicken. I buy chick legs and thighs in 10 pound bags. The last bag cost 49 cents a pound. bargins are what I buy ,usually I cook 3 legs and 3 thighs.
I boil the chicken until it fall from the bone. I put flour in a bowl then make a well and start cracking eggs. I beat the eggs and then start stiring in flour. The dough should be very stiff. Then I put it on a board and roll out like pie crust.
I roll up the dough like a jelly roll and slice the dough . unroll the strips and drop then into the rich broth. cook until the noodles are cooked. Add black pepper if you like and eat. A dish fit for a king or for a bare foot arkie.
My bantie eggs are small so I crack about 12, if you use large eggs 6 ought to be enough.
Once sister was on a health kick and she boiled boned , skinned chicken breast. Then she called me and ask what do I do next. I said throw the mess out the back door and call the dogs. Some foods need fat to be good.

I did finally learn to make them....I always buy a whole bird...You know Patty I put salt in the flour and egg mixture....maybe that is why mine are tough sometimes....
