The polecat race of the nominations is pretty quite today everyone is waiting for texas, pennivania and Ohio. I think the democrat nominee will be Obama and I am sure McCain is the other partys candidate.
The Obama phenomena is hard to explain, I don’t understand it at all. The media apparently “hate” Hillary and for some reason they love Obama. Everyone talks about his speaking ability but I don’t see that at all.
It is said he is like JFK but take it from me he isn’t. They compare him to Martin Luther King and I think that is further from the mark.
Yesterday in one of his rallies the people were fainting and being carried from the scene. That made me thinks Of Elvis Presley.
Never the less I think he will be our next president. A 3 legged dog could beat McCain. He has promised to get us out of the war. I certainly hope he does.
If the republican candidate had been Romney we might be headed for a republican president but he is gone. Huckabee doesn’t have a chance and knows it. He is campaigning in the Cayman Islands today. A little vacation I suppose!
I suppose Hillary can go back to the senate and fight her battles there.
On the brighter side it is 44 degrees here and the chickens are very happy. We have a sharp wind but if you are sheltered from that it might be a nice day.
I am using my word processor for this because my spell checker still doesn’t work. I got a chuckle from the spell checker, it keep trying to change Huckabee to chickadee. It also wants me to change Obama to Osama. This is not funny.

Patsy, it WAS funny!
I too agree that it will be Obama, I have heard him speak in person and he can control a room...kind of like a black preacher. His candance is fantastic, I just can't find any substance still. Hillary will continue to be our champion in the Senate, but it sure makes me ill.
We have 3 inches of snow already this morning and it just keeps coming down!
I am listening to your views on the subject, Patsy, for I think you have some considerable wisdom about these candidates. It may be that the likeability factor is stronger for Obama than for Clinton and that that is making the difference in the choosing.
Everything continues to astonish me. I am not enthralled by Obama, but I guess lots of folks are.
Spell checkers throw up the funniest lists don't they. Glad you have better weather.
Your elections seem to go on for ages - I wonder what will fill the news when they are finished.
It certainly is interesting.
Having Obama or the Hildabeast in the white house would be the worst mistake this country could ever make. Their socialist aginda is right out of the Carl Marx communist manifesto. Liberalism is indeed a mental disease.
