Purple bee balm

I watered everything this morning because the air holds promise of a hot day. Cheryl's beans and my tomatoes got a drink and of course I ran some water in the chicken pens. On hot days they like to scratch a hole in the damp soil and cool off.
I cut 3 cutting from my rose of Sharon which is a double and a hybrid i think. I am going to send these and the 4 I took from the neighbors bushes and send them to Fleta. I don't see any need of growing all these start when I may not be here next year. I will keep the 2 that has started to root and sister can have the others.

Fleta will take better care of the flowers than she does the chickens...

My bee balm is red. I have never seen it in purple. That is beautiful.
