Throw in the towel

In boxing they have a expression, throw in the towel! I was about ready last night. I turned on my computer at 8 O'clock last evening. It wouldn't come on! Then I got a message that windows could fix the problem, Ok so I clicked on the deal and after a long time I got the message the problem was fixed. I was good to go but wait now my virus protection was turned off!

I worked for 3 hours with Norton to fix the problem and then I was told to down load updates. OK! then It went on and on at 1 o'clock I went to bed and left everything running now when I got up at 6:45 I was told everything was fixed. Norton was telling me my Norton was out of date and I have 37 days left on it. no telling what will happen today.

Kelly went to the sale at Huntsville last night and called me from there. He had bought me something I have been wanting for a while. He bought me 10 guineas fowl. I have to get out and get set up for them. He will bring them today. I will have to keep them penned for awhile or they will take off to the wild blue yonder.

Some days I have to just walk away from the computer, it just doesnt always like me! Guineas...hmmm, well I hope you have better luck with them than I did! I bought five as chicks, raised them, put them out early with the chickens so they would take to the chickens as friends. Nope, soon as they got grown they picked on my chickens! I gave two away to a neighbor. The remaining three (two boys and a girl) gave me 23 babies last July. Sixteen survived. After a winter of honking and raising cain and picking on my chickens I couldnt take it anymore, so I sold them all off. It has been so blissfully quiet around here. Some folks love them. I tried, but I just couldnt take it anymore, and neither could my poor chickens! ;) Hugs, Kelly

I dpn't think you can turn them out with those dogs around...and cats.

Something is trying really hard to get into my chicken pen. Larry thinks it is a coyote. We are going to turn one of our mean Feists out and see what happens. They have not gotten on of my hens yet...but they are trying really hard. They dig at the back of the fence. everyday...I work on the places they tried to get in...tonight we are going to try the dog trick.
