Orpington

The sun is bright here this morning and I am feeling rather well for a change. I got 13 eggs yesterday and I gathered 7 when I was working in the yard this morning.I had dumped my fire burner barrel and we are supposed to only put paper in the trash both of my children ignore me and throw cans and such in the barrel so I took the wheel barrow and moved the mess to an undisclosed spot where only weeds grow in the summer.

I am trying to restrict my eating, i have decided one of the reasons I have so much disgorge is if the gut is packed more fluid comes pouring out so we will see if this helps my condition. I had gained 25 pounds when I stopped smoking so I decided it might help if I lost the 25 pounds.

This hen pictured here is a buff Orpington chicken, they are good chickens for laying in the winter and they are one of the few heavy breeds that will set and raise their young.
