The chicks are 3 weeks old and are growing. I had to cull another chick this was a buff Orpington. It had droopy wings and was all humped up,. I finally got hold of it throwing it out of the pen thinking the cats would get it several hours later I found it in the chicken pen running around chirping so this time I removed it head. that leaves 22 chicks in that pen and 10 feed store chicks even with part of them being roosters I will be over run with chickens again this fall.
Rain has been falling here off and on all night. It is cool again this morning.
my peonies are about ready to bloom.
