sisters

The colored photo is as the court house looks today, and the black and white photo was snapped in 1933.

My sisters are ignoring me. I posted this site I found that had lots of photos and maps that would be of interest to people who do genealogy and they just payed me no attention. I found this photo on the site of the Washington county KY. court house . the date was 1933. Our forefather walked into this building and got a license to marry Matilda Hilton.

The date on the building is 1816.



In 1833 Henry was here so I think the court house probably looked more like this photo in Henry's day than how it looks today.

I have seen and been in this courthouse many times in Springfield when I used to live in Gravel Switch, Ky.
