golden lace polish chicks

this is some golden polish chickens when grown.
we made a trip to the post office and pick up Sammy's golden lace polish chicks from cackle hatchery. There are 26 of the little chicks. they are stright run so at least 1/2 will be roosters.
Another hot and dry day starting.
My glasses are suppose to be here today so Sammy will have to go back to the post office after while to get them.

Patsy, will you tell about going off to Ozark to school. That is part of your life that is black to me. We went through there today and all I could think about was you as a young girl away from home and there walking along with a group of kids.

What type of church was it?
What month did you go?
Who took you?
What did you do while there?
Did you have to work?
What year was it--1955?
