TANEY COUNTY -- The Taney County Sheriff's Office is investigating two separate attempted child abductions.
The sheriff said a man and a woman in a blue minivan drove up to a home on Norman Road near Kirbyville on Saturday.
The woman reportedly tried to lure the children to the vehicle by asking if they had seen her dog.
Another incident, several hours later, also involved a blue mini van over on Hulls Ford Road near Taneyville--with a woman asking a boy the same question. The sheriff said the woman tried to get the child to go into the van with her.
The word "Rogersville" was reported to be above the rear license plate of the blue van that may also have a black hood.
Anyone with information about this van is asked to call the Taney County Sheriff's Office.
