Rosa Sericea

Along the dusty Ozark roads there grows a rose that brings joy to my heart. They grow in fence rows and meadows in our area. Posted by Picasa

One's joy is another's nightmare. My husband hates these roses in the
fence. He says they ruin the fences. He spends time snipping them out. I know if it were me I could nto bare to do it and would let them go ahead and destory the fence with their weight!

Couldn't the fence just be stabilized with some iron bars or something? Ask him that!

Annie, you have never been around a farmer...clean fences...are like
clean houses. Cedar and roses growing in a farmer's fence is even sinful.
