Was Thomas Jefferson a great American ? The things we read about his actions say yes. The only fault I can see to be found with Thomas Jefferson was that he had sex with a slave and was found out 200 years later.
How many of our founding fathers did the same thing and was not found out. I have read that Washington fathered a child by a slave. Does make him less in my eyes? No, it just makes him a human being.
William Jefferson Clinton tripped and fell because of a blue dress. I see no reason to find fault with him for this act. We can say he made a mess of his life because he was male and a human being.

I think Jefferson said "all men are equal" but he did not believe it.He thought he was above all
other men. In turn, I think he was the lowest of men.
At least, George freed his slaves.
Jefferson and Clinton were probably the smartest Presidents we ever had as far as book-smarts. The more I learn about Jefferson, the more Upset I am with him - I still am a Clinton admirer, but that doesn't mean I have to like his actions. He stopped our agenda for America and that upsets me - the mess that has been created the last 6 years is the worst black eye that America has ever had!
I dont know those men personaly but to say they did a lot for our country..yes. But I dont like the adultry one bit and you dont get to be president over night. I wish they had been smarter & not let that mess happen. Have you ever heard about Billy Graham & how he has been ever so careful not to be alone with a woman other than his wife? I think men in positions like that should go by the same standards. I have never heard BG preach but I have always heard this about him. I know the temptations must be great but it still sickens me when I hear of all that. Pres. Clinton will always have that scandal attached to his name..a shame.
Ahhh shucks, it could be worse. I voted for Trickie Dickie the first time I voted.
