I think I will rename this flower, TICK WEED ANNIE, sister wondered why they called it tick weed , look at the bud in lower Left hand corner of the photo. looks just like a big full tick , even has the legs only they are green.

Those red ones are called blanketflowers, aren't they? Gallardia? I love those wild ones. The yellows, they might be tickseed. What a sprightly bouquet the world gave you, and you gave us, today.
