Bayer Tree and Shrub on the back will get rid of fleas...put 4 to 5 ccs on a 15 pound dog. it is the same chemical that is in advantix. This is not a tick preventive, but for fleas...it is not dangerous as the percentage is less than in the drops of advantix. We used it and it works great use once a month and the big bottle is 18 dollars at walmart. the bottle is blue and bayer is like the aspirin co.

And fleas are the pits, for dogs and humans both!
