Another one of my heros has died.
DANBURY, Conn. - Mary Travers, one-third of the hugely popular 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary, has died.
The band’s publicist, Heather Lylis, says Travers died at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut on Wednesday. She was 72 and had battled leukemia for several years.
The songs "blowin' in the wind" and "puff the magic dragon" were two of the songs she sang that I loved.

She is forever young in my heart.

Wow, I didn't know she'd been sick; I actually saw them in person around 1964. I still listen to their music.
I love blowing in the wind...the answer my friend.
if I had a hammer....was their first hit..I had not thought of her in years....she was such a contrast in looks to the 2 males in the band...she was so pretty and they were just old hippies,,,
