pullets are laying
One of the pullets I hatched under the bantam laid an egg yesterday. It is always nice to see them start to lay. The hatchery chicks are 17 weeks old and the 4 pullets are 20 weeks old and I think the pullet that laid the egg was either the white pullet or the red one behind her. Soon the hatchery chicks will start then I will have lots of eggs. The rooster is guarding his pullets. He is part bantam.
