I was setting at the kitchen table peeling potatoes for a pot of soup when the phone rang, it was sister and as she talked I spotted a bag of bananas on the table. I suddenly decided a banana would taste good so I tried to break one off the stalk with one hand since the phone was in the other hand. I couldn't break the banana but the skin began to split so I peeled out the banana and ate it while talking to sister leaving the empty peel hanging. I went back to peeling potatoes after my phone call and forgot about the hanging peel.
Sammy just spotted the peel and thought Janet's dog had ate the banana leaving the pealing. he ask if I had peeled the banana and I said no so now they think the dog is a banana eating dog.
I went to the library and got some books so I will be reading for awhile.

Poor dog! He KNOWS you're lying, but what can do in the absence of fully articulatable vocal cords or prehensile fingers?
